Individual Therapy

My goal in individual therapy is to help guide my clients as they learn how to identify their relational patterns, increase their self-awareness, recognize their feelings, and improve their self-compassion. Everyone faces moments in life where they feel overwhelmed or alone. If you are going through a life transition, processing past trauma, or looking to deepen your relationship with yourself and others, I can encourage and support you through this process. Most importantly, I hope to help each of you live a healthier, happier, and more authentic life.

Family Therapy

Family dynamics can be complicated and difficult to navigate. I am here to help facilitate better patterns of communication between family members in order to allow each member of the family to have a voice of their own. Together, we can work as a team to understand the roles and dynamics between the family members in order to facilitate healthier relationships and create a deeper level of love and understanding between the entire family unit.

Therapy for Children and Adolescents

Growing up is scary, confusing, and oftentimes lonely. It is very common for young children and adolescents to feel misunderstood by almost everyone around them at various stages in their lives. As your therapist, I hope to be a constant reminder to you that you are not alone in this journey. I will help you navigate the challenges you face with more confidence and a sense of security. I will provide a safe space for you to be honest about whatever thoughts or feelings might be bubbling underneath the surface. Through our work together, I hope to provide you with a stronger sense of self so that you may take on your future with more confidence and hope.

My Approach

I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and aim to provide a safe and welcoming place for my clients to explore and express their emotions without judgment. My approach is collaborative because I understand that each client is the expert on his or her own life.

I am not here to judge you or tell you what to do. Instead, I am here to help you navigate the obstacles in your life by getting in touch with your own thoughts, feelings, and desires. I ask questions and make observations to get you thinking about yourself and your relationships from a deeper lens. Through our work together, I hope you feel seen, heard and validated for the unique person that you are.

My approach is integrative, pulling from multiple modalities and theories. I try to incorporate psycho-dynamic therapy to help us assess and process how your past is influencing your life today. I also pull from cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques to set tangible goals and find active ways to make changes in the way you think and respond to events for the future. Additionally, I use relational therapy to bring us to the here and now in order to recognize what is happening in the room as it occurs. I also pull from family systems, Gestalt, internal family systems, and humanistic interventions. Ultimately, each client is different and I aim to find the approach that works best for you so that therapy can feel comfortable and safe each week!
